What is RevolUX ?

RevolUX is an Inter University UI/UX Designathon organized by AIESEC in University of Colombo together with the IEEE Student Branch of University of Colombo School of Computing.

We are proud to bring this event for the third time in a row with the goal of providing undergraduates with hands on experience in User Interface and User Experience designing.

This event would open doors to get exposed to design-related fields that helps to enhance the skills of undergraduates and make themselves ready to step to the world of work with confidence.

Guidelines

01

All the participants must be undergraduates studying at any university.

02

One team should comprise of a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of up to 4 members.

All members of the team should be from the same university.

The Initial round selections would be based on the presentation of a solid UI solution by mock-ups and prototypes.

05

The Final round will be happening physically as a 24 hour Designathon where the final 10 teams will be competing

JANUARY 07, 2024

Awareness Session & Registrations Open


This session will be held via zoom to give insights on what UI/UX designing is and on how to use design thinking process in projects.

FEBRUARY 14, 2024

Initial Design Submission Opening


As per initial round submissions, it is expected to submit a solid UI solution by using mockups and prototypes.

2nd Workshop ( Physical )


Design Process and UI/UX Guidelines

Initial Design Submission Closing


Accepting of initial round submissions will be closed.

FEBRUARY 28, 2024

3rd Workshop ( Virtual )


This will be taking place as a virtual session for the finalists, which would provide insights on how to pitch their solutions/designs to the judges as a presentation.

MARCH 02 & 03, 2024

Designathon


This will take place as a 12 hr Designathon virtually.

Grab the trophy


The final ten teams will be presenting their solutions to the judges and the top 3 teams will be selected.
